About Tern Valley Day Nursery

Tern Valley Day Nursery is a bespoke built nursery with state-of-the-art facilities providing education and care for children and their families. The stimulating environment with vibrant and themed classrooms helps to promote creativity and gives children the opportunities to be imaginative and critical thinkers.

We believe that children’s experiences in their earliest years build the foundation to their development and well-being. We strive to help children develop confidence, independence and develop a positive attitude to learning to be well equipped to face the challenges of school. Children learn to care for and respect themselves and others and to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. We work closely with parents and carers as we believe that the child’s learning and achievement is something we should all be a part of.

Owner:

Debra Holiday – Along with her daughter Corrine opened her first nursery in Wellington, Telford in January 2014. Church Street Day Nursery is based on Disney which taps into every child’s imagination. We know that these early years are the foundation to the start of your child’s development and growth, and therefore it is our aim to provide a safe, stimulating homely environment, with the emphasis on kindness, encouragement and praise which will enhance their confidence and give them a good foundation in which to build on.

Nursery Manager:

Hannah Holiday – Having previously worked at our sister site in Wellington as joint nursery manager Hannah is very passionate about her role and having lived in Market Drayton all of her life, she cannot wait to create a Nursery that is part of the local community. She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young Services.

Deputy Manager:

Claire Watkins: Claire has over 15 years’ experience working in early years and spent her recent years in childcare specialising in 1:1 care for children who require special educational need’s support. Claire is very passionate about being able to help inspire and shape the early experiences for children. She holds a Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Our belief is a happy child will want to engage and learn through the enjoyment of play and the result will be a child that has a positive self-identity and easily adapts to their surroundings; is considerate to others and has a positive self-identity.

You can be secure in the knowledge that your child is as precious and important to us as they are to you and we will endeavour to give the highest possible care at all times. We would welcome you to share with our team your input and ideas throughout the time your child is with us.
